Jungle De iku meets devil man in XAM RNB a Haitian written magical girl series featuring Egyptian elements and powerful prescience of our lead character. Much of the chapter is building up to what might very well be an original take on the magical girl formula which doesn’t back hand the genre and has the good mix of eastern and middle eastern elements that combine into something very surprising. Surprise is the word here because its really good at building up what its about and when it does show it off, oh boy does it. Its a powerful moment this transformation is–I hope its like this every time. Usually MG transformations take forever but if I see that every time, I’d be down. Very different. Different is good. Another tagline to have in the back of this series.
Quiet frankly I’d like to do an audio podcast review of both chapters if can I can get my hands on both chapters. Hopefully. These seem like digital only titles and they would benifit from a physical release
